The TV film series The Human Language (Equinox Films) will be broadcast on NHK Education Channel, on June 13, 20, and 27, at 11:45 p.m.

The first of the series (June 13) focuses on syntax, the secon (June 20) on language acquisition, and the third (June 27) on variety in communication. The series features Noam Chomsky, Howard Lasnik, Mark Aronoff, Jerry Fodor, Dan Slobin, Lila Gleitman, Peter Sells, and many others. The broadcast is in Japanese, translation by Yasuhiko Kato of Sophia University.

The Audio Visual Library of Kobe Shoin owns the original VHS tapes of the video series, with CC (closed caption) feature.
